Terms of use

Last updated Sep 19, 2026.

This page sets out what you get and what you take on when you use ibfx.info. Using the site means you agree to what is written below. If you do not agree, do not use the site — you lose nothing at all.

Content for learning, not investment advice

The articles, examples and illustrations on IBFX are there to explain how the market works. Not one of them is a recommendation to buy or sell a particular asset, and nobody at IBFX knows where the price is going next. The trading decision is yours, and so is the money. The detail is on the Disclaimer page.

The calculators and market figures

The tools at /en/tools/ calculate with the formula published right on each page. The numbers you enter are calculated in your browser. The result is only as good as what you enter: one wrong input figure and the result is wrong.

Anyone can read the explanation, the formula and the example on a tool page. The calculator part, meaning the place where you enter your numbers and the latest market figures, only opens when you sign in to a member account (free), apart from the three tools for IBs. One sign-in covers every tool.

The tools that read the market take their figures from third parties — the reference rates of the European Central Bank, the Vietcombank exchange rate table and MetaTrader 5 candles from CXM Direct. Those figures can be late, missing or wrong, whether because of the source or because of the connection, and every page records the timestamp of the last update. Do not use the numbers on IBFX to place an order: look at the price on your own trading platform.

Referral links and commission

IBFX carries referral links to some brokers. When you open an account through such a link, IBFX receives commission from the broker. This is stated inside the article about each broker and on the Disclaimer page, so that you read the articles knowing that IBFX has an interest in you signing up. The account relationship, deposits and withdrawals, and any dispute are between you and the broker; IBFX is not a broker, does not take your money and does not trade on your behalf.

When you become an IB with IBFX

The IB partner page is about introducing clients to a broker. The IB agreement is between you and the broker, under the broker's own terms; IBFX does not pay the commission in the broker's place and cannot decide the commission rate you receive.

Tools made by other parties

If IBFX points you to a tool built by another party, the page will state the relationship with that party. IBFX does not operate, does not control and does not stand behind another party's tool. Using that tool is a matter between you and them, under their terms.

Member accounts

  • One account per person, using your real email address to sign in and to receive recovery messages.
  • The sign-in system is shared with ALFA Software, another product running on the same infrastructure. The detail is in the Privacy policy.
  • Keep your means of signing in private. Anything done from your account is treated as done by you.
  • What you enter (your trading journal) is yours. Do not enter other people's data without their consent, and do not enter what IBFX does not need: identity document numbers, full account numbers, screenshots of statements.
  • IBFX may lock an account that is misused: attacking the system, harvesting data automatically, or entering data that breaks the law. Before locking an account for any other reason, IBFX gives notice by email.
  • You can delete your account yourself at any time in Account settings. Deleting it deletes your data outright, including the sign-in email, and none of it can be restored. The one exception: if you are also using ALFA Software, the sign-in email is kept for the account on that side.

Copyright in the content

The articles, illustrations and tool code on IBFX are made by IBFX. You may read them, print them, quote them with the source credited and share the links. Do not copy a whole article somewhere else, and do not use IBFX content to promote another service. Wherever IBFX has taken content from another source, the source is credited on the spot.

The site may stop or change

IBFX provides the site as it is. The site may be paused for maintenance, a tool may be dropped, an article may be edited or taken down. IBFX works to keep the site running correctly but does not undertake that the site will always be available or always free of errors.

Limits of liability

IBFX is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your trading decisions, from your relying on the figures or the calculated results on the site, or from the site being temporarily unavailable. This liability is limited to the extent the law allows.

Governing law

These terms are governed by Vietnamese law. To repeat what other pages already state: Forex trading through a foreign broker is not among the permitted cases of buying and selling foreign currency, it carries the risk of being treated as a breach of the foreign exchange control rules, and it is not protected by Vietnamese law in a dispute.

When these terms change

A new version will be posted right on this page together with the date it was updated. Changes that affect member accounts will be announced by email before they take effect.
