How it is calculated

The last level receives = rebate per lot − everything the levels above keep.

  • Level 1 is the IB the broker pays the rebate to (the Master IB). Each level keeps a share and passes the rest on to the next level.
  • The levels always add up to the rebate per lot. If the levels above keep more than the rebate, the tool shows an error.
  • CXM does not cap the number of IB levels; this page handles up to 6. The tool only adds and subtracts the numbers you enter; the real split is whatever the IBs agree between themselves.

Examples

A rebate of 5 USD per lot and the Master IB keeps 1 USD: the IB at level 2 receives 5 − 1 = 4 USD per lot.

Three levels on a 6 USD rebate: level 1 keeps 1 USD, level 2 keeps 2 USD, level 3 receives 6 − 1 − 2 = 3 USD per lot.

Once you know what each level receives per lot, multiply it by the round-turn lots for the month with the IB commission estimate tool.
